Yabbyy You is Dead!

Veteran roots reggae singer/producer Vivian “Yabby You” Jackson reportedly died last week Tuesday (January 12) after suffering a brain aneurysm. Jackson, who suffered for years from ill-health, was debilitated by arthritis from an early age, and as he got older, had to use crutches in order to perform. One of his best known work, is said to be the “Conquering Lion” single and album from 1975, which featured contributions from King Tubby and Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry.
