Bajan pop icon Rihanna, has recorded a cover version of Bob Marley’s timeless hit, “Redemption Song”, as a tribute to Haiti’s earthquake victims. According to Rihanna, she felt compelled to act after watching the devastation of the Caribbean island on the news following the 7.0 magnitude earthquake on January 12. Rihanna also performed an acoustic version of the song when she appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show last week. We’ve featured the radio version below, and her cover version can be purchased via iTunes – with all proceeds going to the Haiti Relief Fund.
