Telecommunications giant Digicel has reportedly called on international dancehall superstar Shaggy, and renowned dancehall / reggae producer, Christopher Birch, to write and produce a song – “Rise Again” – to raise money for the Digicel Haiti Relief Fund. It will be a Caribbean song, written and performed by Caribbean artistes for the people of Haiti. Also featured on the song are: fellow Jamaicans Sean Paul, Tessanne Chin, Etana and Sean Kingston; Barbadian artistes, Alison Hinds, Shontelle Layne and Edwin Yearwood; Trinidadian soca artists, David Rudder, Kees Dieffenthaller and Destra Garcia; and Haitian artiste, Belo.
